There was a lot of the wearing of the green in Weymouth yesterday (Sunday) as the town celebrated its annual Irish Heritage Day.
Town Councilor Fred Happel says it’s all about getting the community together to celebrate the Irish.
State Senator Patrick O’Connor was among those walking the parade route.
Parade coordinator Barbara Hughes says the event draws the whole South Shore.
The festival featured Irish performer Sean McCafferty and Irish step dancers.
