Crews are dealing with a fire in the Blue Hills.
The Department of Conservation and Recreation says that the wildfire is located east of the Skyline Trail (North) and north of the Raccoon Hollow Path, near the summit of Wolcott Hill in Milton.
The fire began Sunday afternoon and has burned approximately 2 acres.
DCR says their crews were able to get the fire under control and is currently 70 percent contained.
At this time there are no trail closures in effect, but the public is being asked to exercise caution and avoid the affected areas, if possible.
DCR officials say this will allow responders to work safely in terrain described as rugged and hard-to-access.
Visitors are being told to be aware of potential smoke in the area and to take necessary precautions and they say smoke will likely persist in the area as a result of the dry conditions expected this week.
The Milton Fire Department is also working to further secure the perimeter and prevent any flare-ups.
