Imagine being at home, you’re relaxing in the living room, and this gorgeous little lady saunters up for some attention. Her coat is soft, she nestles in to be pet, and you take your brush to slide it down her back for a quick little grooming session. She jumps up on your shoulder to perch on her loving human. Purring is felt and heard as you wonder how you could have gone your days without sweet, affectionate, and excitable Miss Sylphy?
That’s right – this cat’s name is SYLPHY, S-L-Y-P-H-Y, Miss Sylphy to you, actually! This unique name is fitting for this one-of-a-kind kitty! AND she is looking for her next home. Unfortunately Miss Sylphy holds the record for being at Standish Humane Society the longest (say it ain’t so!). Miss Sylphy deserves to be someone’s new house companion ASAP! The only thing is, Standish Humane Society suggests a household with no other cats (so you can’t plan on getting an additional cat if you take Sylphy home) and no children. Sylphy would love to have a larger dog friend though as she acts like a puppy herself sometimes! It is suggested that Miss Sylphy go to an experienced cat owner.
The story of Sylphy is simple, but a little sad: her previous owner felt like they could not devote enough time to Miss Sylphy so they turned her over. She loves to be pet and played with, but she also needs her space sometimes (don’t we all?). Miss Sylphy is only 2 years old and in good health – this could be the beginning of a wonderful and long love for you!
Take a look at her radiant face, stunning green eyes, and distinctive stripes – she is undeniably an enchanting cat! Make her your pet today!
