It is difficult to not smile upon sight of Miss Sky. Her tongue happily lolling about, her amber eyes shining with excitement, and a smile exuding so much that it cracks a grin in yourself. Sky is her name and she is looking for someone to Foster her OR Adopt her – so many opportunities to have Sky in your life!
Sky is a loving girl who has had her temperament tested- she passed with flying colors and will be a great addition to any kind of household. She loves to run and play with other dog friends as well as settling down for a relaxation session. Sky is a shepherd mix, 8 months old, and about 42 pounds currently, so she would be a great cuddle buddy.

Buddy & Friends Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization based in Pembroke, MA. We are NOT a shelter facility and rely solely on the backbone of our rescue which is fosters and volunteers. We exist to rescue and re-home dogs that would not have a chance otherwise. We are the voice for the voiceless.
We take pride in educating the public on rescue dogs and the spay/neuter crisis in the south. We pull animals from McNairy Humane Society in TN and assist local animal control with owner surrenders.
Each year, approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized (670,000 dogs and 860,000 cats).
Our end goal is the same of many other rescues to provide a furever happy home to our animals.
