‘Pink Day’ for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Rob and Beth designated October 14th as ‘Pink Day’ here at 95.9 WATD in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Featured guests for Pink Day include two very special women: Liz Strawn, the Development Director of Komen New England and Dr. Robyn A. Sachs, MD, of the Breast Health Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Healthcare in Plymouth.

In the first segment with Liz Strawn, Rob and Beth talked about Komen New England and the More Than Pink Walk, the story of Susan G. Komen, and why it is so important to have Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Listen in as we discuss this important topic. 

In the next ‘Pink Day’ segment, Rob and Beth spoke to Dr. Robyn A. Sachs, MD, of the Breast Health Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Healthcare in Plymouth. Important topics include early signs of breast cancer, when you should get your mammogram, and any preventative measures people can take to fight this disease. Listen in as we discuss this vital information.
