An investigation is underway after an apparent stabbing incident in North Quincy.
A Quincy Police spokesman tells WATD News that around 8 a.m. Friday they received a call from Milton Police reporting that a female victim was apparently stabbed in North Quincy possibly in the area of Quincy Catholic Academy.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with what are described as non-life threatening injuries.
Police say that out of an abundance of caution there are extra officers posted at the Academy.
The incident remains under investigation.
