Many Native Americans and their supporters came out in droves for the National Day of Mourning in Plymouth on Thanksgiving Day.
They gathered on Cole’s Hill at noon to remember and celebrate Native American culture and their ancestors.
Organizer Kisha James said the Pilgrim/Native American experience was often difficult and contentious.
Kisha James was the keynote speaker at Thursday’s event.
This was the 55th Anniversary of the National Day of Mourning in Plymouth.
