The South Shore’s Morning News went on a field trip to see our friends at Plimoth Patuxet Museums and explore the living history sites. Rob and Beth thought this was the perfect opportunity to ask the professionals at Plimoth Patuxet Museums, “What does Thanksgiving Mean?”. Associate Director of Indigenous Education Timothy Turner and Deputy Executive Director Richard Pickering, sat down with the morning crew to discuss the importance of native recognition on this holiday, as well as the longstanding human desire for community connection. Both of which can be found at Plimoth Patuxet Museums.
Plimoth Patuxet Museums is the place to be year-round, and especially around Thanksgiving. Each year, they serve thousands of people for their “The Story of Thanksgiving Dinner”. Friday tickets are still available and you can find them buy clicking here.
