A group of turtles boarded a flight from Marshfield on Friday that Ken Andrews, Vice-President of Turtles Fly Too, says will have many stops.
Kate Sampson, the Sea Turtle Stranding and Disentanglement Coordinator for NOAA, told WATD’s Beth Foster why there are so many cold stunned turtles found in this area.
Among those on hand was Marshfield resident, Jeff Corwin, who was filming the turtles rescue flight for an episode of his show Extraordinary World on CBS.
These sea turtles will be relocated to a treatment center before being released back into the wild.
