A Boston man was arrested in Randolph after allegedly ramming a State Police Cruiser Friday night.

Massachusetts State Police say that shortly after 8 p.m. Troopers located a vehicle that failed to stop in Boston.

The vehicle was located on a dead end street near the Jackson Square Orange Line Station and, when Troopers approached, the suspect rammed the police cruiser several times with his vehicle before exiting and fleeing on foot.

The trooper in the cruiser was taken to a Boston Hospital for evaluation.

Investigators found trafficking weight narcotic evidence at the scene and identified the suspect as 44-year-old Keion Rowell.

They were able to locate Rowell in Randolph Tuesday morning and he was taken into custody on charges of Trafficking in Cocaine; Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon; Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Driving with a Suspended License; and Leaving the Scene of a Crash Causing Personal Injury.
