Officials have released the name of a man found dead in an Abington backyard.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that he has been identified as 43-year-old Anthony Leverone.
Leverone’s body was found shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday after Abington Police received a call requesting a well-being check on the caller’s male relative living at 563 Plymouth St.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation has commenced and officials say that, preliminarily, it appears that Leverone died of blunt force trauma injuries.
However, the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
