Flood Closes Down Milton Station

A flood disrupted the morning commute for passengers on the Mattapan-Ashmont Line following a flood at the Milton station.

 

Deputy Fire Chief Stephen King tells WATD News that the flooding was quite extensive.

 

No injuries were reported.

At last report the MBTA said that shuttle buses continue to replace service between Mattapan and Ashmont and that passengers at Central Ave., Valley Rd., and Capen St. can access shuttles on Eliot St.
