Rob and Beth believe teachers are SO vital in this world and want to help support them in any way. Unfortunately, Marshfield High School lost a teacher in late 2024, Nicole Downs. She was a beloved math educator of 15 years, field hockey coach, and an all-around wonderful person. You can read all about her in this Patriot Ledger profile.
Her fellow colleagues, Lindsay-Leigh Consolati and Carol Herb, are coming together to honor Nicole’s memory with a special fundraiser and scholarship fund. This scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to a student who embodies Nicole’s spirit and kindness. If you would like to donate, there are several ways you can.
Patriot Ledger covered this story first, so if you would like to read the full article about the scholarship, please click here. If you would like to donate by check:
Anyone wishing to write a check should make it out to the Town of Marshfield and mail it to Marshfield High School at 167 Forest St., Marshfield MA. 02050. Please mark the envelope: “Attention Lindsay-Leigh Consolati.”
You can also donate online by clicking here for the link. If you need help finding the specific Nicole Downs scholarship, search Marshfield School, and then on the side you will see the “school donations” tab, select that tab and then click on “Nicole Downs Scholarship”.
