The Duxbury Annual Town Election was held on Saturday and voters weighed in on a ballot question regarding a Levy Limit Override.
The ballot question called for an additional $5,800,000 in real estate and personal property taxes to fund the operating budgets of the school department and the town.
According to unofficial results, the measure was rejected with 2,174 no votes and 1,981 yes votes.
There were nine other races on the ballot, but none of them were contested.
