Don’t you just want to reenact the movie, The Lion King, when you lay your eyes on this beautiful pup named Simba? I can hear it in my own head, in Mufasa’s voice: “SIMBAAAAAA”.
Well, imagine living out The Lion King every day because Simba is looking for his new “Pride Rock”, or as we say for Pet of the Week, his Fur-ever Home!
Simba is a 2 year old French Mastiff Mix weighing in at 90 pounds, and has such a joyous face, you can’t help but smile back at him.
Simba is definitely looking for a particular kind of home as he is a ball of energy – still like a puppy – and can get a little overstimulated sometimes. Because of this, Buddy and Friends Animal Rescue suggests an experienced dog owner, with no kids, and a fenced-in yard.
Simba’s personality is unique and adorable: he is a goofball who loves playing with his toys and loves getting LOTS of attention from his adult human friends. Simba is crate and potty trained, and is also doing well at his other doggy training studies. He will work on his doggy skills for any kind of treat, even plain kibble! It is also important to note that Simba is a rock star at the Vet’s office and loves a good pampering spa session with a nice bath and nail trim.
If you already have a dog at home, that is fine, but Buddy and Friends Animal Rescue does say this:
He prefers to eat his bones and play with toys without other dogs around so other dogs are fine as long as there are not resources involved.
Give Simba a wonderful home and go on adventures with him! He is ready!
