It is More Comfort Monday so it is time for Rob and Beth’s weekly realignment with Diane Jordan of Natural Body Works in Kingston. This week, Diane talks about the power of self-healing, where she mentions a client recuperating from an injury and using the power of the subconscious to heal fully:
This is a self-healing technique, combining Spiritual Energy Healing and self-hypnosis and can be used for any physical or emotional challenge. I use with clients, for myself and I’ve been teaching clients to use it on their own.
So, to explain how this works we need to understand the subconscious mind.
As we may remember the subconscious mind never sleeps, it holds our entire memory system and it stores those memories with all our emotions – because it also houses our entire emotional system.
It can’t differentiate between imagination and reality; everything we think and imagine is stored in our subconscious memory as actual reality.
And the subconscious mind controls over 90% of our overall function.
We use our subconscious and conscious mind, together our brain, to think, feel and operate our body, every moment of every day.
We get up, start our day, shower, coffee, work – whatever – and we continue to decide what to think, feel and act on, all day until we go to sleep. We are already in command, we just need to know how to use it. Our brain is the boss of our body and we can learn to use it effectively.
I Command Self-healing combines the healing energy of love from our spiritual support and our boss brain to command our thoughts, feelings and the cells in our body to do what we want.
To do it, we decide what we want to focus on changing. Then we call upon our Spiritual Support – (whoever that is for us) and ask Spirit to fill us with the energy of Love.
Visualize this as White Light flowing through our body and say:“I am speaking to all the cells in my body, I command all my cells to fill with love and light” Then visualize White Light head to toe for a few moments.
Then we say, “I Command all the cells in my body to work together efficiently and heal me on every level”
Then we command the change we want and visualize our-self in that way.
I’ll use the example from my recent client, who I spoke of a couple weeks ago. They are in PT for a knee injury. We made good progress in two sessions, reducing pain and getting their flexion up from 80 to 100 degrees, but they reached a PT plateau and could not get flexion beyond 100 degrees.
Their command was “I command my knee to now be in perfect structure, function, strength, comfort, flexibility and flex to 110 degrees with ease and grace”
110 degrees is where they needed to be by the next Dr appointment to avoid a 3rd surgery
They used I Command several times a day for 2 days and then had the next PT where they reached 110 of flexion with much less pain.
