Maresco Out As Marshfield Town Administrator

Marshfield has parted ways with its Town Administrator.
Town officials say they entered into a “mutual agreement” with Michael Maresco to “resolve his employment status.”
Prior to his term as Town Administrator, Maresco served as a Selectman and Assessor and Assistant Secretary of the Commonwealth.
Officials say that during his tenure Maresco helped to improve resources and facilities of the Town including its Council on Aging, Police Station, Town Hall and Department of Public Works’ offices.
He was also praised for his management of the COVID 19 crisis and establishment and administration of a regional vaccine center at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.
No word was given as to who would be replacing Maresco.
