Brockton police continue to search for a missing seventy-year-old woman.
The state police special emergency response team has joined Brockton police as they expand their search for Marie Louissaint.
Police say she was last seen on Saturday, July 6th, near her home at Caffrey Towers on Crescent Street in Brockton.
According to her family, she has wandered off in the past.
Marie is a black female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 175 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
She may have been wearing a green dress the day she went missing.
State Police troopers deployed two canine units and more than a dozen officers, working alongside Brockton Police detectives to comb the wooded areas surrounding Louissaint’s residence.
The search zone includes nearby properties around Massasoit Community College and Downey Elementary School, both of which are bordered by dense woods.
