2025 WATD High School Football Schedule

The 2025 WATD High School Football Schedule is officially LIVE!

This year’s slate features 20 regular season games and over 25 different local high schools covered across the South Shore and Metro South.

Quinn Kelly returns for his eighth season behind the mic as lead play-by-play analyst, with a rotating cast of color commentators including long-time WATD analyst Bill Vose.

The high school football season begins on Friday, September 5th, as Abington hosts Duxbury on 95.9 WATD in our first South Shore Game of the Week of 2025.

With an early Labor Day/late Thanksgiving combination on the calendar, the MIAA regular season schedule will feature nine weeks as opposed to the traditional eight.

Each week of the regular season will feature games Friday nights, along with five Thursday night games and four Saturday games.

Three weeks of playoffs will follow the conclusion of the regular season, leading into a Thanksgiving week doubleheader.

In addition to the annual Thanksgiving Day broadcast of Marshfield vs Duxbury on November 27, the WATD Sports team will be on hand at Fenway Park on Wednesday, November 26 as Plymouth North and Plymouth South renew their Turkey Day rivarly.

State championship weekend will conclude the season, tentatively slated for December 5-6 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.
