An indictment has been handed down for a Marshfield man in connection with the death of his roommate.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that 66-year-old Richard Lombardi was indicted on one count of Involuntary Manslaughter on Friday.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred on November 27th when a 911 call reported an unconscious male on the floor of the kitchen at 853 Main Street.
Upon arrival first responders found the victim, 80-year-old Frank Griswold, unconscious and bleeding from the head.
He was transported to South Shore Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Investigators determined that Lombardi shoved Griswold following a disagreement over Thanksgiving holiday meal preparations.
Griswold fell to the floor and struck his head, suffering a laceration to his forehead, and a fractured neck.
Lombardi previously pleaded not guilty shortly after his arrest to related charges in Plymouth District Court.
