A Holbrook teen is facing charges after allegedly breaking into roughly 60 cars.
Hingham Police say that shortly before 1 a.m. Friday they received a call from a Pilgrim Rd. resident who said they saw two men breaking into their cars in the driveway.
A perimeter was set up with a K9 unit and assistance from Norwell Police.
A drone was also launched which saw two suspects on another street.
They ran as officers approached and one suspect was apprehended a second male wasn’t found.
Police say all of the vehicles were unlocked and some had been rummaged through with nothing taken.
Stolen items include a laptop, house keys, car fob keys, coins, cash and an electric scooter which was taken from a driveway.
The suspect, identified only as a 17 year old juvenile, is facing charges including Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle, Disturbing the Peace and Conspiracy.
He was released to his parents and will be arraigned at a later date in Hingham Juvenile Court.
The incident remains under investigation.
