Let’s all say hello and meet our featured pet, Star!
When Star first arrived at the Quincy Animal Shelter, life felt overwhelming for him. He was fearful, reactive, and unsure of the world around him. But with patience and kindness, this 3-year-old boy has truly blossomed. Today, Star has become a sweet, affectionate companion who loves attention and has shown us just how much love he has to give. Star has shown some curiosity about other cats, though he can get a little possessive around food. With a slow introduction and the right match, he might do well with another cat—but he would also thrive as a solo kitty soaking up all the love. Because of his rocky start, Star will do best with cat-savvy adopters who can read feline body language and continue giving him the patience and understanding he deserves. With the right home, this once-nervous boy is sure to keep shining brighter every day. His adoption fee is $225. Please come meet him at the Quincy Animal Shelter Tuesday-Saturday 11am-2pm.
