We want you to meet our friend Missy!
Missy is an adorable 11½-year-old Chihuahua mix who is ready for the love and comfort she truly deserves. After spending the past year in a daycare/boarding environment in Georgia, Missy has been around plenty of dogs and does just fine with them. But now that she’s in a foster home, we’re seeing her sweet personality shine through — and one thing is clear: Missy wants to be your girl.
She absolutely adores being doted on, snuggling on the couch, and soaking up one-on-one attention. While she can coexist with other dogs, she would be happiest as the only pup in the home where she can bond deeply with her person. At her age and after everything she’s been through, she truly deserves that.
Missy is fully vetted, healthy, and walks nicely on a leash. She’s an easy, gentle companion who just wants love and a soft place to land.
If you’ve been thinking about opening your heart to a senior sweetheart, Missy may be the perfect match. Currently Missy is available for adoption from our friends at Wags; however they are also open to a foster-to-adopt situation if you’d like to see how she does in your home.
