A shooting at a Carver social club has left two dead and two wounded.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says the incident happened at the Saint John Club on Silva Street just before 7:30 Saturday night.
The victims are identified as twenty-seven-year-old Benjamin Cowart, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
And twenty-year-old Jalen Pina who later died at a local hospital from his wounds.
A 32-year-old male victim was taken to South Shore Hospital for treatment. A 28 year-old male was transported to Tufts Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspected shooter was identified as 23-year-old Nicholas Meuse. He will be arraigned this week.
Carver police chief Mark Duphily says the shooting has affected the whole community.
DA Cruz says all those involved knew each other and it was not a random act. The incident remains under investigation as to what led up to the shooting.
