Braintree Police say that shortly before 11:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to Wollaston Alloys at 205 Wood Rd. after a caller reported that his co-worker had been stabbed.

Upon arrival officers found a group of people in the parking lot and, upon exiting their vehicles, were approached by a man’ later identified as Jorge Monteiro of Taunton, who ran towards them with his face, head, and hands covered in blood.

Officers rendered aid and Monteiro was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

When they asked where the suspect was the crowd pointed to Jose Martins and he was placed under arrest.
