One person was hospitalized following a shooting incident in Braintree Thursday afternoon.
Braintree Police say the incident took place in the area of Skyline Dr. and one victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police were asking the motorists to avoid the area, but say the scene was later secured.
Investigators say they don’t believe this was a random incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The incident remains under investigation.
