A Lakeville man previously convicted of drug offenses is facing new drug trafficking charges.

Fifty-five-year-old Chistopher DiRusso was charged in Boston federal court with possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and cocaine.

The U.S. Attorney says that on August fifth, investigators searched a commercial building in Lakeville, where DiRusso appeared to be living inside an office suite, and found cocaine and drug packaging materials in plain view.

Authorities say that investigators also found thousands of counterfeit methamphetamine pills, designed to resemble the prescription drug Adderall, along with over 2,000 grams of cocaine, in a closet.

The U.S. Attorney says that DiRusso was previously convicted in state court of cocaine trafficking and firearm offenses in 2007 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

In 2001, DiRusso was convicted in state court for indecent assault and battery on a child and was sentenced to a total of three years in prison.

During last week’s search, investigators allegedly found a copy of DiRusso’s Massachusetts sex offender registration from July 2026, when he registered as homeless and listed the commercial building as his secondary and work address.
