
Crews were called to the scene of a fire at 275 Mattakeesett St. in Pembroke around 9 a.m. Monday. Fire Chief Jason Viveiros tells WATD News that having working smoke detectors made a big difference in this case. No injuries were reported damage was estimated at around $20,000.

The Town of Pembroke has officially open the warrant for the upcoming Special Fall Town Meeting. Town Manager William Chenard tells WATD News those wishing to get articles in need to submit them soon. Pembroke Special Town Meeting will be held on October 18 at 7 p.m. at Pembroke High School.
