HOST: Deb Keating spent almost 30 years in the shopping center marketing business, most recently as the Marketing Director for Colony Place in Plymouth from 2005-2020. Prior, she worked for Simon Property Group as well as New England Development as a shopping center marketing professional for many different properties across Southern Florida and New England. During her career, she spent many years working with small and large companies within the shopping malls, helping them promote and market their businesses. After COVID hit, the owners of Colony Place sold the property and therefore Deb decided to change her career path, but she wanted to make sure that she was still able to help small and local businesses with their marketing. She was fortunate enough to come across an opportunity to own her own business as the Publisher of Duxbury Neighbors Magazine and then later opened Marshfield Neighbors Magazine, along with her husband Scott. They are both now the Market Leaders for Best Version Media (the parent company for the magazines) and they are charged with finding Publishers who are interested in opening their own magazines across the South Shore and Cape Cod. Deb and Scott both grew up in California but have spent the last 25 years here on the South Shore, where they raised their 4 children. When you don’t find her at work, you will find her exercising or camping in their Airstream trailer, or visiting family in California.
