Cambridge is home to the MIT Museum which is hosting Polaroid Day today from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., a day celebrating Polaroid and its development of instant photography. This might be fascinating for older kids who love selfies and taking photos for Instagram. Hear the stories of how artists informed the technology and how technology provided new ways for photographers to work. Meet the curators responsible for the development of The Polaroid Project exhibition and offer your own personal Polaroid-inspired stories. In fact you’re encouraged to bring your favorite Polaroids as the museum builds a temporary installation documenting the personal use of the technology over the decades! Free admission for former Polaroid employees for the day! There is a full schedule online which includes an afternoon Polaroid Petting Zoo.  https://mitmuseum.mit.edu/program/polaroid-day
