More about Rob
Rob has had a passion for radio ever since he received his first radio and microphone at the age of 12.
Not long after that, he was “broadcasting” to family and friends on his pretend radio station. Although Rob enjoyed this, it soon became awkward at family functions.
Years later, he wound up broadcasting for “real” at Curry College’s 91.5 WMLN-FM in Milton. In 1996, Rob graduated magna cum laude from Curry with a degree in Communications. Soon after, he ended up at 95.9 WATD for his first stint as news reporter and afternoon anchor.
Rob left 95.9 WATD to work full-time for Shadow Traffic in Boston, but the South Shore called him back. He returned to 95.9 WATD in November, 2000 to host a brand new program called “The South Shore’s Morning News.” The program was designed and created by Rob and former WATD News Director Aaron Katersky.

The Emotional Hangover After a Breakup: Stop Rerunning the Past
Breakups are messy, messy business. And sometimes, the hardest part isn’t the heartbreak, it’s the emotional hangover that lingers long after the door has closed. That “if only” moment keeps creeping in: “If only he wasn’t a gaslighter… a manipulator… maybe even a...
Stop Packing His Lunch, You’re His Lover, Not His Mother
We need to talk about something a lot of women fall into without realizing it, the mothering trap. It starts with love: you want to take care of him, make his life easier, show how much you care. But before you know it, you’re not his partner anymore… you’re his...
Ten Years, No Ring, No Deed…..Babe, That’s Not Commitment, That’s Comfort
Love Without a Contract I thought love would be enough. After seven years together, I believed we had built something solid, something that didn’t need a ring or a piece of paper to prove it. But then came the seven-year itch, and just like that, it was over. Eighteen...
Can Men and Women Really Be Just Friends? When Your “Friend” Might Actually Be a Backup Plan
Yeah yeah, we’ve all debated this before. But let’s be honest; this gets murky fast when one person has (or had) feelings. Let me just say it: I actually don’t think men and women can stay close friends if there’s romantic history or lingering attraction. And I...
You Snooped, He Slipped… Now Deal With It Like a Queen
Let’s not pretend. You snooped. His phone was there, curiosity got the best of you, and you saw a flirty little message from his ex. Now your stomach’s in knots and your mind’s spinning. Is it cheating? Not exactly. Is it disrespectful? Absolutely. And now you’re...

SOUTH SHORE MORNING NEWS PODCAST
“There is a unique excitement and special energy that comes from collaborating with Lisa Azizian and the crew at WATD. When we tune into 95.9FM and hear our brand and message broadcasted, catching the ear of thousands of listeners throughout the day, we are so proud of the work we do. Our mission to raise awareness and funds toward a cure for type 1 diabetes is tremendously assisted and positively impacted by our yearlong partnership with the radio station.
We applaud WATD’s outstanding local news, sports coverage and the on-air entertainment they provide for their audience of Boston’s south shore and are continuously grateful for their sincere and unmatched support.
