Hingham Police are trying to identify a suspect being sought in connection with a housebreak that took place on Saturday night.
Police say that at approximately 7:30 p.m. they were contacted by a homeowner on Kress Farm Rd. who said they could see someone on their camera system walking through the home.
They were not home at the time of the break.
Officers responded and found a rear sliding glass door was broken to gain entry and that the suspect had left the area.
Hingham and Norwell Police K9 units along with a drone were deployed to attempt to locate the suspect, but they weren’t found.
The suspect on video was seen wearing running shoes (possibly Nike), sweat pants, a thin hoodie, gloves, and some sort of thin mask much like pantyhose.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Det. Scott Tracey at 781-741-1443, anonymous tips can also be submitted here.
