Two Randolph Police Cruisers Crash While Searching For Suspect

Two police cruisers crashed while searching for a robbery suspect.

Randolph Police say at approximately 1:20 p.m. Tuesday they responded to an armed robbery involving a suspect armed with a gun at Prestige Gas at 1201 North Main St.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall Black male wearing a white short-sleeve T-shirt, blue or olive shorts, black and white sneakers, black gloves, and a blue Red Sox baseball hat over a ski mask.

He was allegedly armed with a black semiautomatic handgun and fled the scene on foot.

During a search for the suspect two Randolph Police cruisers collided at the intersection of Mitchell St. and Royal St.

The officers who were driving the cruisers were transported to the hospital with what are described as “non-life-threatening injuries.”

Both the robbery and crash are under investigation by Randolph Police.
