A petition to remove Marshfield Select Board Chair Eric Kelley has failed.
Town Clerk Narice Casper tells WATD News that organizers with Recall Marshfield gathered 2,830 signatures, 570 short of the required 3,400 needed to move the measure forward.
That means there will be no recall election and Kelley will remain in his seat.
Kelley’s current term expires in 2027.
