On Friday night, the Cohasset Skippers were able to exercise some demons and jump into the driver’s seat in the South Shore League Tobin Division.
Each of the last two seasons, the Skippers have dropped excruciating games to Randolph, costing them a share of the league title in 2024 and the outright title in 2025.
For all that the seniors on last year’s state championship team accomplished, that was a box they’d left unchecked.

This year would be a different story, though, as a fresh cast for Cohasset walloped the Blue Devils to the tune of a 33-7 victory.
The aerial attack was at full force all night, as junior QB Jed Seita threw for four touchdown passes, three of which found the hands of senior James Joyce.

Seita and Joyce, along with teammates Chris McSweeney, Michael Joyce, Graham Simmons, and Max Hession stopped by broadcast house to join the Sports Exchange on Sunday following the win.
