The 2026 WATD High School Football Schedule is officially LIVE!

This year’s slate features 18 regular season games and over 25 different local high schools covered across the South Shore and Metro South.

Quinn Kelly returns for his ninth season behind the mic as lead play-by-play analyst, with a rotating cast of color commentators including long-time WATD analyst Bill Vose.

The high school football season begins on Thursday, September 10th, as Abington hosts Longmeadow on WATD Plus, followed by Hanover taking on Hingham on Friday, September 11th on 95.9 WATD in our first South Shore Game of the Week of 2026.

With Labor Day coming late on the calendar this year, the MIAA regular season is back to just eight weeks. 

Each week of the regular season will feature games Friday nights, along with five Thursday night games and four Saturday games.

Three weeks of playoffs will follow the conclusion of the regular season, leading into the annual Thanksgiving Day broadcast of Marshfield vs Duxbury on November 26.

State championship weekend will conclude the season, tentatively slated for December 3-5 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.
