Duxbury School officials say they have decided that they will hold classes following a party broken up by the police on New Year’s Eve.
Officials say it is “the appropriate decision based on the information we have gathered over the last two days.”
They also say they have communicated with colleagues from Pembroke, Weymouth, Abington, Hull, Hanover, Hingham, and Cohasset, where the other attendees from the gathering reside.
However, they say Duxbury High School administrators have been able to identify additional attendees present at the party that took place on Federal Eagle Rd in Duxbury.
All of the Duxbury High School students known to be present at this gathering have been placed in the ‘Close Contact’ protocol.
That means those students will not be permitted to participate in any in-person Duxbury High School experience until they have produced a negative test result and/or complete the seven, ten, or fourteen-day quarantine periods.
