A contested School Committee race was decided in the Middleboro Annual Town Election.
With unofficial results, Richard Young was re-elected to a three-year term with 492 votes. Ezekiel Adams Lewis was elected to the second open seat with 418 votes. Robert Sullivan had 239 votes.
Write-in votes for three finance committee seats are being finalized. There were 64 write-ins for two open seats. There were 29 write-ins for an unexpired term to 2023.
667 ballots were cast in the Middleboro Annual Town Election – a turnout of 3.6 percent of voters.
