Crews were called to the scene of a fire at a Milton Academy residence.
Milton Fire officials tell WATD News the fire was reported around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at 501 Randolph Ave.
The fire apparently started in the basement and reached two alarms with mutual aid being provided by Canton and Randolph.
Officials say it spread into the walls and the walls had to be ripped down before the fire was knocked down.
The home sustained an estimated $100,000 in damage and has been deemed uninhabitable at this time.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
