One man was killed and another man was injured following a shooting in Brockton.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that shortly after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Brockton Police responded to the area 69 Tremont St. for a report of shots fired.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 2007 Mazda 3 parked in the middle of the road with two male victims outside.
One victim, identified as a 36 year-old man, was suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.
The man was transported to Brockton Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before 2:30 a.m.
A second victim, a 38 year-old man, was suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg and torso.
He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton where he remains being treated.
There was also a third occupant in the vehicle, but they weren’t uninjured.
The DA’s office says the investigation is active and ongoing.
