A Maynard man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree.
The Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office says 19-year-old Julius Hammond-Desir was arrested in Dorchester by members of the Braintree, Boston, and Massachusetts State Police.
A murder arrest warrant was issued for Hammond-Desir for the shooting and killing Dijoun Beasley at the South Shore Plaza on January 22.
His arrest was being processed at the Braintree Police Department and the District Attorney’s office says he could be arraigned for murder as soon as this morning at the Quincy District Court.
