**Main St. in Marshfield has re-opened following a crash involving a truck and a police cruiser.**
Police Chief Phil Tavares tells WATD News that the pickup truck struck the cruiser head-on after encountering black ice on Main St.
The incident took place near St. Christine’s Church and both the officer and truck’s driver were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
A road closure is in effect on Main St. with motorists travelling south being detoured down Pine St.
North bound motorists are being detoured through the St. Christine’s parking lot.
