The Chowder suppers, that the United Church of Christ in Abington, is famous for in the Lenten season, are back to in-person participation. When the pandemic struck a little more than two years ago, the church tradition of having chowder suppers, was threatened to be ended after almost fifty years. We had already gotten the supplies for them to start. We decided to cook up what we had for people to safely pick up or deliver. This was a success, and we continued for that season and into the next. We are now into a period of post pandemic, and WE ARE BACK. We are presenting these suppers every Friday in Lent.
March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, & 31st.
Cafeteria style dining beginning at 4:30pm and ends at 6:30pm.
We are serving Corn, Fish or Clam chowders along with a sandwich, desert, and a drink.
Full meal chowder, sandwich, desert, and drink: $10
Chowder only: $7
Mini meal choice of chowder & sandwich or chowder and desert: $8
