The Plymouth Independent Online News Organization honored the late Charlie Mathewson on Thursday morning at Cole’s Hill in Plymouth, which holds a special symbolism for the founders of the organization.
Charlie worked for WATD for over 20 years
Bill Keohan, one of the several founders of the Plymouth Independent, tells WATD News that he thinks the notion of tying such a historical event to the role that Charlie played in the founding of the PI is special, and that he would be proud of the comparison.
Charles Mathewson, who passed away in June, helped found the Plymouth Independent, which is a nonprofit online news organization focused on Plymouth and free to readers.
