Independence Day Events around the South Shore

Braintree – Saturday, July 1st, at 11:45am, the Stars & Stripes Parade, starting at 10 Plain Street and ending at the Hollis School

Bridgewater – Tuesday. July 4th from 10am to 2:30pm at Bridgewater State University arts and music festival at 131 Summer Street

Cohasset – Fireworks Sunday, July 2nd, from 9:15pm to 9:30pm at Sandy Beach

Halifax – Saturday, July 1st, from 11am to 2pm, day activity events on Town Green at 499 Plymouth Street; at night there will be fireworks after dark/sunset

Hingham – Tuesday, July 4th parade at 10am near Hingham High School; ends at Station Street at 11:15am

Hull – Tuesday, July 4th South Shore Bluegrass Jam at 7pm at Daddy’s Beach Club

Duxbury – Tuesday, July 4th parade at 2pm, from Halls Corner to Duxbury High School and Middle School

Plymouth – Tuesday July 4th 5k run begins at 7:30am; parade starts at 9 a.m. from Cordage Park; fireworks start at 9 p.m. in the Harbor, Plymouth Philharmonic Concert rescheduled to Wednesday July 5th at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on our sister station 101.1 FM and AM 1460 WBMS.

Quincy – The Adams National Historical Park will be performing the Jefferson & Adams Play at  4 p.m. at at the United First Parish Church at 1306 Hancock Street

Scituate – Sunday, July 2nd Lawson Tower Concert at 10am behind 330 First Parish Road

Weymouth – Monday, July 3rd fireworks from 5pm to 10pm at George Lane Beach parking lot on River Street

Whitman – Annual Fun Day 2023 starting at 10am on Tuesday, July 4th, at Whitman Town Park
