The Town of Milton is holding a special election in Wednesday regarding approval of the December Special Town Meeting vote in favor of MBTA Communities Act Zoning.
Tom Callahan, of Yes For Milton, tells WATD News there are three important reasons why everyone should vote yes.
However, John Keohane of No For Milton said the state’s plan doesn’t accomplish its intended objectives.
Koeohane also tells WATD News that he doesn’t see how the Mattapan-Ashmont Line could be considered Rapid Transit.
Callahan disputed that argument.
Callahan says that voting Yes gives the town more options when it comes to zoning.
Koehane says he’s not concerned about potential reprisals from the state.
Polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm at all regular polling locations.
The vote was postponed due to the storm after being originally scheduled for Tuesday.
