The formula at the TD Garden was much the same for the Hingham Harborwomen as it had been all year long.

Strong defense, stout goaltending, and dazzling offense paved the way to Hingham’s first state title in girls hockey since 2011.

As she had throughout a record-setting career, Caroline Doherty once again led the Harborwomen with the sixth ever hat trick in a state title game.

After a slow first period, Hingham turned on the jets and raced away from the tournament’s Cinderella, 15th seeded Bishop Stang, cruising to a 5-2 win.

Relive every moment of Hingham’s third state championship in program history.

Quinn Kelly and Bill Vose were high above the ice at TD Garden and on the call for Hingham’s victory.

As Doherty and fellow seniors Addy Garrity, Helen Concannon, and Kailee Walsh capped off their careers with a state title, 95.9 WATD captured it all.

Following the game, the WATD Sports Team broke down the game and the entire championship weekend on Sunday’s edition of the Sports Exchange.
