A Cohasset man is facing charges after he allegedly defaced a campaign sign.
Cohasset Police say that on Wednesday 74-year-old Frederic Laidlaw entered onto private property on Route 3A and painted a swastika on a political sign for former President Donald Trump.
He was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Quincy District Court on a felony charge of defacement of property in violation of Massachusetts General Laws.
Police the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, Civil Rights Division, has been notified of the arrest and that the investigation remains open.
