Milton voters say yes to a nine-point-five-million dollar override in Tuesday’s Annual Town Election with unofficial results showing that the override won with 5,556 votes compared to 3,215 no votes.
The override was being sought to cover shortfalls in town department budgets and the schools.
Incumbent Select Board member Roxanne Musto was ousted with Winston Daley getting 4,105 votes and Meghan Haggerty getting 4,100.
Incumbent Town Moderator Robert Hiss was defeated by challenger Elizabeth Dillon with 4,281 votes and Hiss getting 3,715.
William Bennett held onto his seat on the Board of Assessors with 3,600 votes defeating challenger Nicole Rukstalis who had 3,296.
The race for School Committee saw incumbent Annamma Varghese getting 3,622 votes the other seat went to Nathan Hutto with 3,980 votes. Sharese Caldwell had 3,133 votes and Daniel O’Neil had 3,140.
Carolyn Cahill won the race for Park Commissioner with 4,834 votes to Mary Fierabend’s 2,653 votes.
Incumbent Mary Stenson held her seat on the Board of Health with 3,903 votes defeating challenger Deborah Milbauer who had 3,391 votes.
Three incumbents in Constable race secured their seats with William Neville getting 3,202 votes; Tamara Berton getting 3,053 votes and Eric Isnner getting 2,972 votes. The fourth seat went to Kevin Chrisom, Jr. Yolanda Thomas received 2,848 votes.
Matthew Morong won a seat on the Housing Authority with 3,130 votes while James Kelley had 3,085.
Incumbents Sean Fahy and Margaret Oldfield held onto their seats on the Planning Board with Fahy getting 3,840 votes and Oldfield getting 3,706. Hal Munger received 3,604 votes and Denies Keohan had 3,546 votes.
The remaining town-wide races were uncontested.
