UPDATE – ALFONSO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Alfonso really stuck out to us at 95.9 WATD because of his beauty. Big green eyes, a silky grey coat, and an adorable face – it is hard to believe that his previous owner surrendered him. Alfonso is hanging out at Standish Humane Society in the meantime so we need to do a big call-out for Alfonso to find his fur-ever home.
He is more of an independent cat and enjoys being pet, but will let you know when it is time to wrap the petting session up! Alfonso is truly friendly and loves wand toys, as well as playing fetch with fake mice toys!
Alfonso will be a wonderful new edition to your home. He is housetrained, neutered, and it is unsure how he is with other dogs, cats, and little kids.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
When we have received the application, the adoption process will then proceed with a phone interview with an Adoption Counselor who will explain the adoption process including relevant adoption fees. Once your application is approved, a volunteer from the Adoption Team will contact you and work diligently to schedule a tour of our facility.
Our Adoption Team is made up of volunteers who are not at the shelter full time, but we try our best to schedule appointments at the potential adopters’ convenience.
Adoption Fees * (discount $5 off fee if paying with cash or check)
Kittens (under 1 year of age): $275 for one, $395 for two
Adult cats 1 – 7 years old: $175 / $275 for two
Senior Cats 8 years +: $105
*Special Breeds fees are determined individually
Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, combo test, dewormer and flea treatment
